DILAWAN MEDIA ARE DESTROYING OUR NATION

GAANO KAGAGO MGA DILAW na MEDIA SA PILIPINAS?
ALL credit to sir. jhun p.

We did not start with a wrong foot. Someone is pushing us to fall down.
Some Fake News:
News: 50 Million Cauldron is overpriced.
Fact: Cauldron Monument na visible only cost 7 Million (Mas mahal pa ang Flagpole.) It reaches 50 Million because it includes Underground Mechanism for the fuel, budget for site development (Tiles, Road, Platform, & Landscaping), Fuel, Design and Layout. This cauldron is not for one time use structure, this will last a lifetime. (Expensive, but not overpriced.) Cheaper than other country's cauldron.
News: Bad Hotel Accommodation for the Cambodian Athletes. / Cambodian Team made to sleep on the floor and on lined-up chairs.
Fact: The signed agreement with the organizers include accommodations with standard check-in time of 2:00 PM.
Hotel were informed late that team members from Cambodia were coming in early on November 23, 2019 - the night before. Due to full occupancy, they need to wait for their booking schedule. Standard check out is until 12:00NN. However, as early as 8:25am, some members were given an early check-in due to availability of rooms.
News: Philippine Flag used as tablecloth in serving food to participants.
Fact: The photo was taken Nov. 23 2015, not in any Sea Games Venue.
News: Semi-finished Media Center at Rizal Coliseum.
Fact: This makeshift media center at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex for the SEAGames Football matches has been set up by The Philippine Football Federation or PFF headed by Mariano ‘Nonong’ Araneta. The Official Media Center is in Clark and in World Trade Center.
News: Sea Games shirts that cost Php 6,000 each.
Fact: 6K uniform includes a jacket, pants, 5 shirts, cap, shoes, socks, and a backpack.
News: Two toilet bowls in one cubicle.
Fact: Still under construction, now complete with cubicle.
News: Toilet with no conjugal cubicles.
Fact: The urinal on the photo is for kids, female restroom do have cubicles (post was deleted by GMA).
News:The practice field in Biñan Football Stadium is still under construction.
Fact: It was the UP Diliman Football Field, which was still under construction. Wrong photo and fake news.
News: Only kikiam and eggs serve to athletes.
Fact: Chicken sausage not Kikiam. Food served in buffet.
News: Pork served to Muslim athletes.
Fact: No Muslim athlete provide any statement to the media and no Muslim athlete was served pork meals.
With all this fake news circulating online, kung nabiktima ka at naniwala sa fake news, it's ok wala na tayong magagawa, damage is done, but you can delete your post. They have done this before, manipulate the public countless times. Why do we let ourselves be fooled over and over again?
Bumawi na tayo, it's not too late. The official ipening is still a few days ahead. Let's start spreading good news and cheering our athletes and stop spreading fake news! This event will never be perfect and no country will ever make it perfect, but we can make this hosting worth it and something to be proud of.
Laban Pinas! We will win as One! We Unite as One.

Duterte admin satisfaction rating highest since 1989: SWS

Duterte admin satisfaction rating highest since 1989: SWS
By Joyce Ann L. Rocamora  May 4, 2019, 7:17 pm Share

President Rodrigo R. Duterte.

MANILA-- The Duterte administration has achieved the highest satisfaction rating in the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey since the poll on national administrations was conducted in 1989.

In the first quarter 2019, the SWS survey done from March 28 to 31 showed that at least 81 percent of adult Filipinos say they are satisfied with the present administration, with only 9 percent dissatisfied, and 10 percent who are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied.

According to the survey, the administration's overall rating is six points above the very good +66 (76% satisfied, 9% dissatisfied) in December 2018, and two points above the previous record of excellent +70 in December 2017. Its "new record-high" net satisfaction rating reached +72, classified by SWS as "excellent."

In the same period during the third year of former President Benigno Aquino III, the national administration got a +53 points or "very good" rating.

In the latest survey, the Duterte administration's net satisfaction rating is highest or "excellent" in helping the poor with +72 points while it is classified with a "very good" rating on reconstructing Marawi City with +58 points and fighting terrorism with +58 points.

Out of 11 specific performance subjects rated, it attained "good" ratings on seven specific issues, such as fighting crimes at +48; reconciling with communist rebels at +45; reconciling with Muslim rebels at +44; eradicating graft and corruption at +41; defending Philippine sovereignty in the West Philippine Sea at +40; ensuring that no family will ever be hungry at +37; and +40 on foreign relations.

On the other hand, it got the "moderate" score on fighting inflation with +22 points.

The SWS attributed the rise in the present administration’s overall net satisfaction rating with the increases in all areas, rising from very good to excellent in the Visayas, up by 11 points from +63 in December 2018 to +74 in March 2019.

In Mindanao, it stayed excellent, up by six points from +75 in December to +81 in March and "very good" in Balance Luzon, up by three points from +65 in December to +68 in March.

The same classification of "very good" was received in Metro Manila, which is up by five points from +60 in December to +65 in March.

The quarterly SWS survey items on public satisfaction with the general performance of the National Administration, and its performance on specific subjects, are non-commissioned.

According to the firm, it employs its own staff for questionnaire design, sampling, fieldwork, data-processing, and analysis, and does not outsource any of its survey operations. (PNA)

VACC files homicide raps vs Aquino anew

Philippine Daily Inquirer / 04:25 AM November 09, 2019

Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) on Friday filed anew a homicide case against former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III over the botched 2015 Mamasapano operation which saw 44 members of the Special Action Force (SAF) and several civilians killed.

VACC legal counsel Ferdinand Topacio, who accompanied family members of the slain SAF 44 in filing the complaint, said he hoped that under “a fair and impartial Ombudsman,” the victims will attain justice.

Then, an ex-police inspector stepped on to a tourist bus with an M16 rifle.

At 10:00 a.m. on Monday morning, Rolando D. Mendoza commandeered a bus carrying Hong Kong tourists in downtown Manila. Mendoza was reportedly furious about his dismissal on corruption charges and demanded redress, at gunpoint. As the standoff progressed, television crews swarmed the scene and Manileños gathered in restaurants and shops to follow live footage. Many were still watching, hours later, when shots rang out, SWAT teams moved in and gunfire swallowed the vehicle. Mendoza killed eight people before the police managed to shoot him dead. Another victim later died in a hospital.

Hong Kong, for one, is outraged. "Fury in HK Over Manila Bloodbath," read a headline in the city's English-language daily, the South China Morning Post. The city, a semi-autonomous sliver of southern China, issued a travel warning and urged its residents to leave the the Philippines at once. Donald Tsang, the territory's chief executive, spoke with unusual candor on the matter: "The way it was handled — particularly the outcome — was very disappointing," he said. The Philippine consulate, meanwhile, was swamped by protesters bearing placards and petitions. Online, the tone was vicious: "SWAT = Sorry We Aren't Trained," was a common refrain.

In addition to Hong Kong and China, several other governments have issued travel warnings for the Philippines. And, though there has been no threat of trade sanctions, some businesses are bracing for a backlash. "I'm just waiting for it," said Joseph Rubio, a Filipino who does business in China. Aquino, the optimist, urged calm. "We should not just give up because of this one incident," he said.

Manila — and, indeed the country — is now engaged in a high-stakes blame game centered, primarily, on the police, the press and the President himself. The only consensus, so far, is that security forces botched the rescue. Gunshots were heard at 6:40 p.m. on Monday, but the SWAT team did not storm the bus until after 7:30 p.m. "How could it take them so long?" asked Mike Santos, 50, a customs broker. So far, four members of the SWAT team have been sacked and the head of Manila's police department is on voluntary leave pending an investigation.

The media have come in for blame as well. Footage from the standoff may have helped the gunman figure out what the police and the hostage negotiators were up to: he was reportedly watching himself and the would-be rescuers on the bus's onboard TV. He then supposedly started firing when he saw his brother being escorted from the scene. In light of the criticism, President Aquino said he may consider new "limitations" on the media. His office admitted, too, that there were "defects" in the handling of the crisis. These concessions, though, did not earn him absolution. He's been roundly criticized, at home and abroad, for his lack of visibility during the crisis.

According to Panelo...
“These missteps not only derailed [President Duterte’s] well-meaning intent for the vice president to be part of the administration but registered red signs that could not be ignored,” Panelo said.
“To the President’s mind, that cannot be ignored so he decided not to appoint her in the Cabinet,” he added.
"'Yung assurance naman lahat na sensitive information hindi idi-disclose,”

What is the conspiracy

What is our country to you? is there hope beyond political despair? So if you are tired of this yellow-cult society, if you are living unhappy with the lies from your history book, if you find it unbearable to listen to the fraudulent promises of those victorious storyteller... Then it is your life that begins to end day by day as you are still silent of the truth ... nobody can give you freedom unless you fight for the truth and the truth shall set you free
